We are open 7 days a week all year round (closed christmas day and boxing day).

we open at 9am for brunch which is served until 11.30.

Lunch is served from 11.45 until 3.30

Cream teas are served all day until 3.30

Takeaway only from 3.30

We don’t take bookings but we have a lovely marquee for extra seating and lots of out side seating.

Absolutely, we love dogs and even have a menu just for them. We just ask that they are kept on a lead, paws on the floor and if they are particularly barky they may need a table outside.

Forestry England run the car park for Cardinham woods which is 50m from the cafe and accessible to all. There are payment metres dotted around or you can pay by phone. The site as a whole is cashless.

We try and cater for all dietary requirements and have separate menus for vegans, non gluten and non dairy diets including cakes on the counter. We work hard to limit cross contamination, however, our kitchen is small so we cannot guarantee our dishes are free from allergens.

As we are situated in a public woodland we choose not to close to the public for day time events but we can offer the cafe or marquee for late afternoon and evening bookings, pop us an email if you are interested.

Our beautiful wood mans cottage is tucked into Cardinham woods near Bodmin very close to the A30, (basically in the middle of Cornwall). We are close to, but not in, Cardinham village so please follow sat nav for the woods and not the village. Our postcode is PL30 4AL
