Our Story
We are a family run independent cafe in the middle of the beautiful Cardinham Woods, Bodmin, Cornwall. We are family and dog friendly with loads of outside seating in the summer and a lovely roaring log fire in the winter.
A hidden gem in the Middle of Cardinham woods
Tucked in amongst a mix of native woodland and soaring pines our old wood mans cottage is the perfect place to escape to for a while.
Our menu is designed to suit everyone, from the littlies to the hikers, the bikers, the families and the doggos. Brunch is served 9-11.30 and lunch is 11.45 until 3.30
On our lunch menu you’ll find hot and cold sandwiches, fresh salads in the summer and warming stews in the winter.
All food ordered for outside is served as takeaway so you're free to enjoy there where you choose.
Our cakes and scones are baked every morning and are perfect with a locally roasted Yallah coffee.
On the weekend and in the holidays our ice cream hut is the perfect stop for a post walk treat.
